It’s Alive!

The new website has finally been attached to the petworthchorus.co.uk domain name. Yay! You no longer have to use blueberry-violins. (If you don’t know what that means don’t worry; it used to be the only route to the site.)

N.B. If you find yourself at the old site, with Sara instead of Tom, then you may have put petworthchorus.co.uk in the search bar instead of the address bar.

Some browsers are intelligent enough to realize you’ve given a site you want to go to instead of some text you want to search for. And some browsers aren’t. And some browsers give you two places you can enter stuff. Typically you want the left hand one where the https:// prefix appears rather than the right hand one with a little magnifying glass.

Another thing to try if you get the old site or ‘page not found’ is to add the www. prefix to the address. Or even go the whole hog and use https://www.petworthchorus.co.uk (which of course is a link that will take you there anyway!).

Over time the old site will disappear from the search engines’ indexes and you’ll be able to get to the new site either way.
